What is the cancellation policy? 

24 hours notice is required for cancellations and rescheduling. If less than 24 hours notice is provided, the session will be billed in full and the booking of future sessions will be placed on hold until payment has been received.

Where will my session take place? 

Sessions will occur by video using a secure health platform or by telephone. 

What are the fees? 

$150 per 50-minute individual counselling session. 

Session fees may be paid through e-transfer or credit card through your JaneApp account.

Session fees are due at the start of the session. 

How long can we work together? 

There are no set parameters for minimum or maximum amount of sessions. You can determine the frequency and length of involvement based upon your personal needs and goals. 

Will my insurance cover counselling sessions? 

Many health insurance plans have benefits that include counselling provided by social workers. You may wish to explore this directly with your insurance provider to determine eligibility and processes for coverage. 

Payment must be made directly to the counsellor at the time of the appointment; receipts can be submitted to providers for reimbursement.
